Temp-Illusion

Tehran, Iran

Tehran duo of Shahin Entezami (Tegh) and Behrang Najafi (Bescolour). Live-first industrial dance music — noisy atmosphere, odd melody, dense beats.

  • Shahin Entezami — electronics, production (Tegh)
  • Behrang Najafi — electronics, production (Bescolour)

Temp-Illusion are Shahin Entezami (Tegh) and Behrang Najafi (Bescolour), a duo from Tehran active since 2011.

They build dance music from noisy and atmospheric layers, peculiar melody and dense beat programming — industrial and noise folded into considered, physical live sets. The project is known first as a live act.

Releases have appeared on Paradoxe Club, PTP, Zabte Sote and EVEL, including the live document Autolected and later studio works PEND, failsafe, BIKH and Vittrine. Appearances include SET × CTM in Tehran, CTM / Berghain, MUTEK.AE, Insomnia Festival, TADAEX, SET and Paraffin.

“The Iranian duo construct immense, swaggering monoliths of sound, while allowing fragile glimmers of light to poke through.” — The Quietus
“Temp Illusion have a defiant, psychedelic edge and Autolected sounds distinct, unusual and fresh.” — Fact Magazine
