Idlefon

Idlefon is Hesam Ohadi (b. 1987, Tehran), based in Calgary. Electronic music since 2006; first producer credit 2010. Records on Tympanik Audio and n5MD. Co-founder of BITROT and SET Experimental Art Events; curator of the ABEND series.

The current liveset, Aesthetics of Survival, moves from processed sampled speech toward lyricism and singing — shoegaze-inspired vocals with IDM and industrial music.
